Since the government's announcement on 18th March 2020 to cancel all large gatherings due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus, we will be running our meetings online for the foreseeable future. Please click the link to find out how to join us online.
We meet together every Sunday at 4pm at Crofton Park Baptist Church for our regular church service.
At GCB no one has anything to fear. The gospel creates a safe, non-accusing place where we sinners can rethink our lives before God. Our hope is that you will find a safe place where you can come as you are, receive a warm welcome and learn more about Jesus.
A Call to Worship with us...
To all who are weary and need rest;
to all who mourn and long for comfort;
to all who feel worthless and wonder if God
to all who sin and need a Saviour;
to all who hunger and thirst for
and to whoever will come;
this church opens wide her doors
and offers her welcome in the name of the
Lord Jesus Christ.
Our service lasts around an hour and a half and involves singing, reading, praying and being taught from the bible through the sermon. We also have a question and answer time at the end of the sermon when we can ask questions about what we have heard and how it applies to us.
After the service there is a kid's tea for the younger members of the church and tea/coffee served for the adults. On the first Sunday of the month we celebrate the Lord's Supper together.
Exploring the Christian Faith?
The best way to find out about the Christian faith is by reading the Bible. We believe the Bible is one unified story that leads to Jesus. Reading the Bible with another person is a great way to explore what God is saying, who Jesus is, what He did and why it matters so much.
Interested in reading the Bible with another person? We love reading the Bible with people and have a team of people ready and eager to read with you. Please email our minister Ray Brown who will be able to connect you with the right person (if it's not Ray himself).
Ray's email is: email@example.com
Here is a quick overview of the Bible from The Bible Project (we are big fans of their work!).
